August 15, 2011 - We just had 10 days at Desamuda (myself, Partner and 11 month old baby). The staff were exceptional, the gardens delightful, and the Villas perfect. There were mosquitoes but this is all areas so be prepared, there was a mossie net over the bed and mossie coils provided. Our Villa lounge was enclosed so we didnt have too many problems. We checked out the 2 and 3 bedroom villas as we will definitely be returning and they were divine. Fantastic place to stay.

July 22, 2011 - It was clean and tidy and beautifully designed.The villas are large and extremely comfortable. We loved the beautiful landscaping all around the complex.The staff are friendly and very accomodating. The room service was good. Dining at the restaurant was nice and affordable.We loved our stay at Desamuda.

July 17, 2011- Good location, lovely staff. Villas were starting to get a bit old but well maintained. Water cooler was great. Welcome snacks were a nice touch. Staff were very obliging with all requests.

June 17, 2011 - The staff are excellent. Especially those at the restaurants. The villa is very comfortable and the design is awesome. My husband said it's the best bed he has ever slept in.

March 14, 2011 - We stayed there for 3 nights and it was the best 3 nights I've ever spent for holidays. Our villa was great with an indoor pool and open air bathrooms. The location was great as well, there were many small boutiques along the road leading to our hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay here again next year!!

March 07, 2011 - The stay was a pleasant one. What we like about the villa were the private pool and the politeness of the staff in the villa. They were all ready to help with our requests although I must say they were not many. The staff were able to give specific instructions as to the directions to those places of interests that we would like to visit. They have free shuttle bus service to the Kuta beach that we went, which was a pleasant surprise to us. We thought we needed to pay. The bus shuttle was very punctual be it ferrying us to the beach or to the airport. This has been a good experience for us and we would recommend anyone who would like to have a relaxed holiday to choose Desamuda Village Hotel.

March 07, 2011 - our stay at desamuda village hotel was excellent. the beautiful villa's are gorgeous and done in balinese style with outdoor lounge with large flat screen tv, outdoor kitchen and large fridge. the bedroom also had a flat screen tv, safe, mosquito net, air-con and was very comfortable. the staff are probably the best part of desamuda. they offer complimentary airport transfers. location is walking distance to some wonderful restaurants and boutique shops. loved it!!

February 28, 2011- this was our second hotel and we stayed there 2 nights in 1 bedroom deluxe pool villa. we suppose to stay in normal pool villa but they upgrade us for free :) big plus for that. there is noting bad to say about this place. beautiful surrounding, amazing modern interior with unique architecture of the villas combined with tons of green plants and small detailed figures scattered everywhere. we felt we are one step from heaven. our villa was pretty much awesome. big bed, nice small but deep pool and big tv with tons of channels. additionally spacious bathroom and small kitchen where we cooked everyday instead of eating outside. it was like a small house of our own and i wouldn't change it for anything else! for a discount price we found on agoda and with the upgrade it was simply more than we really expected.

February 25, 2011 - I absolutely loved this hotel . It is for people who want to experience true Bali without being surrounded by massive modernist concrete hotel blocks. We were upgraded to pool villa and it was lovely , great to have small private pool and larger public pools too. Saw new deluxe villas and they look luxurious and romantic. This hotel would be good for families too although it is very quiet and peaceful. Villas extremely spacious for the price. Will be recommending to friends and coming back....soon I hope!

February 11, 2011- tthis is a great hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. we had an upgrade which was fantastic! it's a very nice location the rooms are nice and clean. there are a lot of nice shops and restaurants in the area. we rent a scooter to go around and to the beach, which is 5 to 10 min. away! the hotel can help you to rent one and give good tips about the nightlife / restaurants. the breakfast could be better, but overall we were pleased with the service.

January 23, 2011 - The villas are about a 25 min walk from the beach. There are plenty of shops and restruants within easy walking distance. Breakfast was provided each day but was not up to the standard I would expect from a 4 star resort. The gardens are lovely and the staff were always very friendly and helpfu

January 08, 2011 - It was a stupendous 3 day stay. The transfer from the airport to the Desamuda Village Hotel was well organised and the car was neat and comfortable. The check in formalities were done expeditiously by a very courteous crew who took the trouble to make us really feel welcome and perfectly at home. Next was the big sense of excitement that awaited us as we opened the door into perhaps one of the best designed villas for this standard.To say everything about this villa is excellent is somewhat a little bit of an understatement. From the big cosy bed with very neat and soft linen whose colour, allure and general constituency must have taxed the better part of a star artist, to the glamorous lounge juxtaposed to a pool into which runs a waterfall whose low thudded rumbles reminds one of the deepest engagements with mother nature and not to mention the beautiful garden with lovely flowers, the villa does exudes more than its share of romance. The cuisine at the hotel is good, the Friday supper special is a signature treat-here you get a chance to taste a variety of Indonesian dishes in one meal;awesome! The hotel staff was able to arrange tours and other services like massage and so on. I definitely recommend these, otherwise how would you call yourself a tourist in Bali. Cons - mosquitoes, room service timings(the brochure said this service closes at 11pm but we failed to get a service at 10pm)

February 24, 2011 - First we step into the villa, they serve us a welcoming drink+ cooler handkerchief + quick check in. They upgrade our 1 bedroom w private pool to 2 storey w 2 rooms w private pool. The private pool is so small to us. Big room with King size bed w mosquito net and also mosquito coils and repellent. Aircon not very cool and a lots of mosquito at night. A lots of lovely shops,restaurants and bars near Desamuda Village. Free shuttle to the airport and beach.We realy enjoyed our stay and definitely would stay here again. Cons - Breakfast should be more choice
